Silicone Carbide #600

This grinding powder is very fine and is the third grinding powder you should use when Tumbling stones. (STEP 3)
Next step is polish.

Fill with water until the stones in the tumbler are covered. Do not overfill, it should tumbled, not be slide around.
Check that the abrasive media is not too thick. If too thick, dilute with more water.

0.5kg stone --> Abrasive powder #600 Approx: 30ml.
1.5kg stone --> Abrasive powder #600 Approx: 40-50ml.

NOTE. Not suitable for pouring down the drain.

Personally, I recycle abrasive media and reuse it at some point by pouring it into a plastic bucket/container without a lid and letting it dry. Easier to measure next time.
