Silicone Carbide #46

This grinding powder is coarser and is the first thing you should use when Tumbling stones. (STEP 1)

Fill with water until the stones in the tumbler are covered. Do not overfill, it should tumbled, not be slide around.
Check that the abrasive media is not too thick. If too thick, dilute with more water.

0.5kg stone --> Abrasive powder #46 Approx: 40ml.
1.5kg stone --> Abrasive powder #46 Approx: 50-60ml.

NOTE. Not suitable for pouring down the drain.

Personally, I recycle abrasive media and reuse it at some point by pouring it into a plastic bucket/container without a lid and letting it dry. Easier to measure next time.

You can experiment a little.
